According to a post at NextPortland.com a master plan to redevelop the Pepsi blocks on Sandy Blvd. has been approved by the design commission. The plan is for five new buildings that will provide residential units, retail space, offices, live-work space, and below ground parking. As part of the design plan there will be affordable housing, publicly assailable outdoor space, and energy efficient buildings. The construction of the project will take place over multiple phases and should continue the revitalization happening along Sandy Blvd. and the rest of the Inner Eastside.
